A functional monument. The structure is simple in its execution. Intermediate landings span north to south and serve bearing points for each run of stairs. Each function then rests within this simplicity.
Minimal openings protect from winter weather. A dumbwaiter carries goods to the upper floors while an open ground level allows space for waders and gear to dry. Intermediate landings highlight views as you ascend. The upper room is conditioned year-round, and continuous balcony offers panoramic views to survey the land.
